Food service is going retail
Food service goes retail. I assume this deal was in the works before Covid 19 but if not it was a great play after the fact. Retail is going to have some new players with new ideas along with consumers that will demand the change.

I can’t wait to see what the produce landscape looks like a year from now. I predict some drastic changes on how and who we purchase and sell produce from farmer to consumer. I am sure there will be some new ways along with some old tried and true ways that make a comeback in the selling and merchandising of fresh produce. There is no doubt that direct delivery of fresh produce to consumers will be a big winner but I wouldn’t be surprised if a newcomer disrupts the “we always did it that way” crowd.
